UAD 2 delay compensation issue in PT9?

When inserting UAD plugins on drumtracks I instantly get a phasing discrepancy. For instance, when I insert the cambridge eq on the subkick to filter highs, the sub is out of phase with the main kick mic..
I noticed the same with the IBP phase alignment plug and others..
Anyone encountered this?
Session is at 24/88.2
It's the only plugin in the session apart from some trim and time adjuster plugs.
Dly comp is on and nothing is showing that it can't handle the delay the plugins impose.
The buffer size is 512, but changing this shouldn't matter if there's enough processing power to compensate I think.
I'm on an 8core Mac Pro running the latest software of PT9 and Universal Audio.

The plugs are VSTs (wrapped) did this recently by accident as I was wrapping other new plugs. Could this be the problem?
If yes, how to unwrap an will this cause problems with other sessions using the plugs as VSTs?
I remember having similar problems before wrapping but now it's very obvious for some reason.

Anyone? Mixing drums like this (not knowing what kind phase problem the next plugin is going to bring) is quite impossible to enjoy... :0(
