I recently purchased the Studio Trends 46" desk and it is fine BUT, the metal "modesty panel" that is attached to the bottom of desk has a very noticeable "ring" even when just modestly tapped! Maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal to most folks. But I can imagine this being somewhat of a problem as far as mixing. Or maybe just getting on my nerves!!
I have looked into Sorbothane products but would like more insight before purchasing anything.
My question is, what are some sound dampening materials and brands I can look into that might provide me with the results that I am looking for (which is stop "ring")?
I'm guessing something I can just apply to the back of the panel..and front if necessary.
Any and all help would be appreciated!
