WMD Performance Mixer or Frap.Tools CGM: eurorack alternative to normal LIVE mixers?

Here's the issue: I need a mixer for live performance.
And I'm taking a 6u rack of modular usually. I like to plug everything into one mixer, with pre-listen, so I can hear parts before mixing those in. Pan and volume control. Stereo out. Don't really need eq, since there's filters to patch in the mono channel inputs. Pretty straightforward. I used an old Vestax PMC-25 mixer before, but it's another 2u of rackspace, plus a wall-wart. It needs service so I couldn't use it the last time. Then I tried a Rane plus an extra box for splitting headphones out, but that was way too heavy and complicated with a lot of wiring to set up. I do have my Speck Xtramix, but that's heavy, and tied into the patchbays. Not going to rip it out every time I do a gig (madness!).

So, enter the new batch of eurorack mixer modules. Before there was only the Cwejman MX-4S, which offers quality sound, but didn't have a pre-listen function or headphone out. So only useful as a mixer for the eurorack synth voices, and not a replacement. I was looking around and there's the Arrel Audio ER-100 which is 8 channels of high quality (specs) but no monitor cue function for the input channels and no VC over pan or volume.

And now there's a few new mixers that do have what I need:
The Toppobrillo Stereomix, which is 4 channels with one aux send, VC over pan, volume, and cue and pre-fader button.

And the WMD Performance Mixer plus expander (which adds those cue and mute buttons) which is 8 channels of everything, 2 aux and CV control.

And there's much more.
The Frap Tools CGM looks neat.

That will get expensive quickly though. But it's obviously a different level of build quality.

So the idea is to put this WMD in my eurorack roadcase, and then use it for the modular, drummachine, the MPC and the E-MU command station. I need the 6 in & 2 stereo in, four mono channels is just not enough for me. The Toppobrillo may work if you only have the modular outputs to consider (you can use other, small mixer modules to sum signals, then go into the Stereomix.)
Or go nuts and get a full blown Frap Tools CGM?

But I can certainly see how this could be a standalone mixer for non eurorack users. Add external CV-Gate input, maybe a few LFOs and filters (instead of EQ) and you have an 8 channel automated mixer, in a small package.
The only thing I'm worried about is how long those WMD faders will last. wworried

Anyone have a stereo mixer in their eurorack? Anything else I should look at? Did it replace your other mixers?
What modules to add to automate? Suggestions?
