Hey folks,
I just upgraded to an M Audio Profire 2626 and am having a bunch of issues.
I'm using a 2012 MacBook Pro, and originally I was running Lion (10.7.5), but as M Audio doesn't have 10.7.5 drivers, I made the upgrade to Mountain Lion this afternoon. So now I'm running OS X 10.8.2. I have the ProFire control panel coming up fine, and my computer sees the Profire, but I can't get any audio flowing.
When I select the Profire as the audio output in System Preferences, iTunes stops playing and will not play, at all. When I select it as the audio output in Logic, no audio comes out. I've reset the control panel to its factory settings, and still nothing. Is there something I'm doing wrong in routing this within the control panel? Is it a driver issue?
I really need to get this up and running for a few mobile tracking sessions I have next week, so any help you can provide would be invaluable.
Thanks so much,
Alex Evans
