Hey guys. Quick question, that seems very simple but is stumping me at the moment.
I have a Mackie Onyx 1640i mixer/interface running into Pro Tools 10. I have some outboard gear and a few patchbays as well.
The recording outs on the Mackie are running straight into my patchbay via a DB25-TRS breakout snake. However, I cannot patch out of the Mackie still! All I am trying to do is a simple patch out of a channel 1 on the mixer, run it through a compressor, and back into the board. I cannot get the signal to leave the board in the Analog world at all...it will transfer fine digitally, but for some reason I cannot patch in or out of it.
**I realize that this could be a problem with my patchbay, but I just bought 2 brand new ones and tried it out on both. No success.
Any ideas???
