High End cables. Best choice for xlr between preamp/AD

Hi guys!

I´m looking for a good pair of very short XLR cables to put them between my 2 ch Preamp (Aurora Audio GTQ-2) and my A/D (Lynx Hilo)
Brands like Vovox, Monster cable, Lyric HG or any others are worthy than a simple mogami cable with decent Neutrick connectors?
If any of you made a shootout between different brands of cable i would like to know your impressions. What would be your first choice?
How about length?
