It seems like most manufactures are still playing it safe and too lazy to make a low end thunderbolt/USB 3 sound interface for the people. In the age of softsynth there are manufacturers still making and releasing USB 1.1 devices.... Hellooooo! USB 2.0 is not cutting it for latency, I am using my Macbook's internal sound card for playing software instruments because its giving me better latency than most interfaces out there! Sure there are ways to lower the latency with external devices, but that comes with higher CPU use, clicks and nastiness.... Any rumors, news please share!
