Hi Gearslutz,
I recently added a black side Dbx 902 De-Esser to my rack and noticed that the black side 902 sounds different than the silver side 902 I already owned. I don't know the history of the 902 and searched for a thread regarding this but couldn't find one. To me the black sounds smoother with less highs, while the silver is a bit more upfront in the mids... Can anyone else comment on this difference between the two? And which one is used more often?
