Without going on for a zillion pages, I just need to let people know about this amazing Nebula library from Gemini Audio. If you already use Nebula, you know how stunning the tubes, preamps, eq's, consoles. etc are. I come from an all analog audio background (20+ years), and I had been doing digital audio for 4 or 5 years and was almost ready to abandon it and re-invest in the rooms full of hardware and mortgage the house to maintain it all. I discovered Nebula and my analog ears were blown away. Was it easy? No way! Work-flow almost killed me for a while. Was it worth it? Absolutely, audio had never sounded so good since hearing it on a real reel (ha ha, word play). But even after getting excited about all of the new juicy and warm digital audio I was enjoying, compression was still bugging me. There were already some really nice libraries of some slower compressors, and they are awesome. But nothing that will catch the transients quickly and deliver massive gain reduction while keeping the integrity of the source. KultComp has arrived and redefines the possibilities of Nebla compression. This is a HUGE library, and if you don't have a pretty good CPU in your rig, get ready to do some rendering/freezing/bouncing, whatever lingo your DAW uses. But I started my Nebula journey on a simple dual core (lol, a dinosaur!), but it was doable. But after upgrading to even a simple quad, the world of possibilities opened up for me. And this KultComp library is amazing. It is punchy, very fast, comes with over 870 presets in HQ, Clean, and SideChain capabilities. Now if I can get them to code this in a stand-alone Aqua plugin, watch out!! Check out the link for the product page and consider getting this. If you don't use Nebula, I can't urge you enough to at least try it. And after you are convinced that it is the best thing that you ever laid your ears on, get this incredible compressor library!
