Converting old Mac "Simple Sound" files to waves in Mac OS X

Hi All,

Some of you remember "simple sound" files that were for system sounds back in the OS 7, OS 8 and OS 9 days... I have a client that has a batch of these that he wants converted.

I tried: Sample Manager, Izotope RX2 Advanced, Sound Grinder, and Audacity. In Audacity, I tried "Import as Raw Data". No luck with any of them.

Then I went to Google, some of you may remember that too..., no luck.

Anyone know of a way to import and convert Mac Simple Sounds to waves (or AIFF, doesn't matter)?
