I'm an industrial designer and former audio engineer (5 years experience) and now things have amazingly come full circle.
I now work for a robot research institution and I'm responsible for improving the way robots hear. Currently there is a lot of transmission of vibration from the robot (when driving around) to the mics.
We are using small lapel-style mic components for their size and good sound quality.
I've been searching for a small mic shock mount to keep vibrations at bay, after a bunch of web searches I've been unsuccessful at finding a good solution.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Aiyo
