hey guys
i need a quick answer to this question im afraid ... so if anyone could help soon (until tomorrow morning :-) id much appreciate it.
i need to soundproof a small wall in my live room. every other wall is thick enough by default.
my acoustic guy has given me a plan on how to construct it. basically its an air gap - some mineral wool and then three layers of drywall. im sure the plan is fine. but he thought about using mineral wool as the insulating material. i happen to have lots of pavatherm laying around and would prefer using that simply because i already have it. could anyone look into the datasheet and see if it will give the same soundproof characteristics as mineral wool?
thanks so much
jakob
