Too much gear, not enough sockets.

Hi guys,

As the title suggests I have more gear than electric sockets. What I was wondering is it safe/good practice to daisy chain surge protected socket extensions and plug everything into that?

Or

1. Should I go down the other route and install extra sockets?
2. Use one of those power conditioner thingies?
