I have to get a new audio interface, i have apogee duet at the moment but need to upgrade to 8 input channels. Im happy with the sound of the duet so ensemble would seem to be the natural upgrade. Im just thinking it was over 6 years since it was released, technology develops fast and gets cheaper all the time. Are there any new 8ch interfaces that sound as good (or better) but cost the same or less? What would you reccomend? I dont want to spend more than the cost of ensemble, less would be awesome!
