One side of My drawmer 1968 isn't working properly. I can only get it to apply compression if I insert a 1/4 ts cable halfway into the sidechain input. The sidechain input also will catch sometimes and become difficult to remove.
Also if I set the 1968 to sidechain listen position even with nothing inserted into the sidechain there is no output out of the compresor anymore.
The 1968 will pass signal but will only apply gain reduction with a floating 1/4 ts plug halfway inserted to the sidechain input. It will apply compression if set to stereo link but input channel one will not work independently unless I hook it up like previously stated. Any thoughts on what's going on here.
