Hi,
Looking to upgrade my system and was wondering if it makes sense to spend $499 on a samsung 840 pro 512 gig or two 500 gig velociraptor drives at $179 each. Im thinking if i get the ssd, i will see a big improvement. However, if i get the 2 velociraptor drives, ill have the os and programs on one drive and the sessions on the other drive. Which will be a big improvement as well. Im not the best tech guy and i havent had experience with either type of drive. Currently i am running win 7 64, i7 with 9 gig of ram. A hard drive for os and programs, one for sound libraries and another for sessions. Your expertise is greatly appreciated. Thanks
