Hi slutz,
Yesterday I turned on my trusty old Ensoniq ASR-10, which has been lying on a shelf unused for several years. It seems to be working fine, but it's now producing a loud hum which I'm sure wasn't there the last time it was used. The hum is purely acoustic, that is, it's produced by the instrument itself and is not in the audio outputs. I'm pretty certain it's the power supply, but have no idea what to do about it. Does it need to be recapped? How complex/expensive is the fix?
thank you all in advance!
