adobe audition vs sony sound forge

hi to all,

for many years now i am working with adobe's audition 2 but i think it's time to move on a better and newer sound editing software

i have to say that it is really very easy for anybody to working with adobe's audition 2 (especially on sound edit) but i have the impression that it's sound quality is not crystal clear

i have been told that sony's soundforge studio 10 (euros 45 from ebay) is a much better program with top quality sound as well
