Hi there, I bought an LS-AES "daughter" card for the Lynx L22 awhile back (about a year ago), thinking I could add more audio input channels to the LynxL22. After connecting the LS-AES, I tried connecting various different pres to one of its XLR inputs, but could never get any input signal to show inside my DAW's. I monkeyed around with the mixer settings a bit, but never got anywhere, and since I didn't really need it at the time, I put it on a shelf and put it out of mind.
Now I'm trying to get it working again and getting just as frustrated as before. I'm starting to think it just wasn't made to do what I want it to do. The documentation says 8 input channels, but I notice now it doesn't mention "analogue channels" like the 2 that it does for the LynxL22, just "AES/EBU channels."
So my question is: has anyone used the LS/AES to add more analogue input channels to the L22? Or is that even possible? And if not, could someone please explain to me what the #%@#% the XlR inputs are on there for?
Of course, the one day I'm off work and try to call the support team, they're away. I don't have many days during the regular 9-5 Mon-Fri work week to stay at home at call their customer support, so I thought I'd try my luck here. Any help is appreciated.
